Watching the twilight parade
Couldn't load pickup availability
'Watching the twilight parade'. Set in a common suburban scene, a man watches a colony of flying foxes silently fill the twilight sky with one flying close overhead. The beautiful early night color scheme, and glorious balance of light and shade, add to the mesmerizing display.
Subject: I have always enjoyed the flying fox spectacle, that silent and often missed 'last light' event, so I painted it.
